IKEA food - I LOVE it !

Salmon fish + poached potato + brocoli + sauce = S$6.90

The sauce is so amazing ! A bit cheese flavor and warm !

This is @ IKEA Singapore, Alexandra Road.

I come here for the food specially.

And the King Killer- Semla come back !

Semla- The delicious Swedish sweet is a wheat bun, lightly cardamom-spiced, partially filled with smooth almon paste and crowned with fresh fluffy whipped cream. Almost floating on the creation is the cut-off bun lid, sprinkled seductively with fine icing sugar.

In Sweden, the Semla is traditionally eaten before Easter fasting. The Swedes would indulge in rich food on the last Tuesday before fasting and this Tuesday became known as Fettisdagen - literally means Fat Tuesday. Today, the Semla has become a traditional dessert between Fat Tuesday and Easter.
Since last year this time, I ate the one I just cannot forget!

But I am a bit afraid its super calories, haha !

King Adolf Frederick of Sweden died of stroke in 1771, after consuming a luxurious banquet topped off with 14 servings of Semla! So I call it "King Killer".

In addition, I bought a biscuit as I left here.
